V is for Variety of Embellishments

Hello and happy Wednesday to all you bloggers!  It's starting to feel like summer outside!

Today at ABC Challenges the letter is V.  V is for a variety of embellishments.  We would like to see all sorts of embellishments on your project!  This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Stamp Fairy. Be sure to check out the store because there are so many cute whimsy digistamps for all sorts of projects!   They have also given us some digis to work with, and I have used Linda Fairy 4.

I have colored the image with my copics and cut it out using a circle nestabilities.  I then layered that panel on a small doily (which has been sitting in my embellishment box FOREVER!), and added some black pearls to the doily and a white pearl on her bow.  The background  I made on a white sheet folded in half.  I did some two step stamping using the Petal Prints set from Stampin' Up.  The top layer (black) of the stamping I heat embossed.  I also added some ribbon that I pleated.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Ribbon Carousel - anything goes
Woodware USA - use a forgotten embellishment (doily)

Have a great rest of the week, and when I come back I will have some AWESOME news!

  3. Hi Kendra, fab card, love the cutie teddy. You called by my blog, Rainbow days earlier the info you requested is R27,29&59.
I laid down the 27 first to the areas I wanted shadow, then gradually added 29,I then used my 27 to pick up some of the 59 from the nib. once Id done this, only roughly I might add, I then flicked the colour in using r27,not till I was feeling very brave did I add the R59 directly to the paper. Don't ask how I did the face though,I'm pants at faces lol!
Hope this helps, come and see me again,Julie x

  6. Love your handmade backing paper, which is perfectly toned to match your image colouring. The addition of the pearls on the doily is very clever.

Did it hurt using it???? I have all sorts hidden in my stash that I just can't seem to use.
