Good Luck Truck

It is SSDS DT Saturday! This week the challenge is to make a good luck or get well card. Our sponsor this week is Digi Doodles!

Digi Doodles has donated at $10 gift certificate to the winner! So get creating!

Digi Doodles gave us some digis to play with, and I decided to use Old Truck. I colored it with my copics after my husband researched what the paint jobs looked like! Thanks honey! I used crystal effects from Stampin' Up to make the windshield and lights clear and glossy! The background stamp is from Stampin' Up and is called Road Trip.

I entered this into the following challenges:

Paper Sundaes - sketch
Cooking it up with Katie - Checks, boy, brown
Theme Thursday - vintage man
Cute Card Thursday - no punches or diecuts
Aud Sentiments - anything goes
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - non-Christmas anything goes

Have a great weekend!

Let's Ink It Up - First Challenge Ever!!!!!

Hello! I'm very excited to show you the first ever challenge over at Let's Ink It Up! This is a blog challenge dedicated to using your rubber stamps! So we'd like you to get inky with us!

Our first challenge is one most people like, it is Anything Goes with a Twist......the twist is there must be the color yellow somewhere on your project! I hope you all come along and play with us, who know you could win something from our lovely sponsor Scrapbook Boutique!

Scrapbook Boutique is giving one lucky winner a $20 voucher to their store! Awesome!

For my project I took a little inspiration from Michelle Zindorf and did a brayering project. I inked and embossed the grass, then inked and embossed the bear. Then I brayered some yellow onto the top of the panel, followed by some orange and red right at the tippy top! I flipped it over and sponged some green at the bottom with the grass and some black around the edges. The bear is from Stampin' Up set Wildlife Reserve.

I entered this card into the following challenges:

Stampin' for the Weekend - anything goes
Paper Cutz - anything goes
ResQ Challenge - what rejuvenates you? (being outside does, but I'm sure the rush of adrenalin when you face that bear would do the trick! :)

So I hope we see all of you at the new challenge blog Let's Ink It Up!

Sketch Challenge at SSDS

Hello and happy Saturday everyone! Hopefully this post will reach you Saturday morning as it is my first time scheduling a post! We are away on a mini vacation this weekend, so hopefully it worked!
Ok, so the challenge at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays is to use this sketch on your project:

Our sponsor this week is Whimsy Stamps. Make sure you head on over and check out all of their wonderful products!

The Whimsy Stamps store gave us some cute digis to work with and I chose the Gift Horse. Isn't he cute?!

I colored him with my copics, my new favorite medium! The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Birthday Banter set. I used some blue scraps, the dp is from Sizzix, and then I added some blue rhinestones!

I'm entering this card into these challenge: (I will link them when I get back if I'm not too late!)

My Time to Craft - Farm Fever
Fab 'N' Funky - favorite color (blue)

I hope everyone has a great weekend, I know I will! :)

SSDS - No Images only Sentiments

Here's my card for our challenge at Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturdays. This weeks challenge is to make a card with no images only sentiments. I made this card for my husband for our anniversary back in June. We've been married for seven years now!

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up set Basket Full of Fun. The paper is from Stampin' Up as well. I also used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the white, added some bling and some gold ribbon! That's it!

I'm entering into these challenges:

Raise the Bar - Pearly Whites

Don't forget to stop by and play in our challenge at SSDS! Have a great weekend!

Everything girly!

Here is a card that I made for my mother for her birthday next Monday. She is under strict orders not to look at my blog until Sunday when we are having her party! We'll see if it works! :) She has recently started her own Christmas card making blog, so please go take a look here at her wonderful work!

I have used Stampin' Up papers (well the yellow is a random one!), and the flower is made from a Stampin' Up set called Doodle This. I stamped the flowers on white paper and colored them with my copics. Cutting all of those flowers out took some time though! I am still a beginner at stitching, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it!

I have, of course, not wasted this opportunity to enter more challenges! These are the ones:

Mojo Monday - sketch
Paper Sundaes - Stitching
The Crafty Pad - flowers and ribbon
Creative Card Crew - Cute and Girly
Totally Stampalicious - inside of the card

We're Published!!!! And.....

Well, it's officially August so now I can let you know! Our design team at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays has been featured in the online crafting magazine Scrapstreet! You can find a link to the article here! Be sure to check out the rest of the magazine, because there's a treasure trove of information!

Here's the framed print that I submitted:

I had to scan it without the frame so it would show up the best without glare! All stamps are from Stampscapes, and the inks are from Stampin' Up.

Congratulations to our team!

There is another milestone to celebrate today! This is my 101st blog post! Hurray, and thank you to all of my followers, and especially my family for all the support you have given me in my crafting journey!

I'm entering this pic into these challenges:

Alphabet Challenge - N is for Nature
Cards for Men - Off on an Adventure
Creative Inspirations - anything goes
