SSDS - Clean and Simple

Happy Saturday everyone! The Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturdays challenge this week is to make a clean and simple card. I used Stampin' Up set Times and Seasons, stamped it in black ink on craft paper, and colored it with my copics. I added a yellow ribbon and there it is! Clean and simple and quick.

I am entering this card into the Stampin' Royalty challenge KISS.

Have a great weekend!

Christmas in July #2

Here's my second Christmas in July card! Image from House Mouse, sentiment from Stampin' Up, and of course colored with my copics! No sketch this time, because the die cut just wouldn't work with any of them at the moment. Although I am entering into these challenges:

House Mouse - letter B (bulb from the light!)
Tellen's Place - Christmas in July
Charisma Cardz - something with a tail
Stamp Something - Christmas in July

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for a dt post from Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays! I'm squeezing all these cards in this week, because swim lessons start up next week for my kids, so I don't know if I will be able to craft much next week! Busy, busy! Summer is just flying by!

Let's Ink It Up - Candy Alert!!! :)

Let's Ink It Up, a new challenge blog, is looking for some followers! The goal is 100 followers by the 4th of September. Help out Suzanne and you could win this:

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Let's Ink It Up - DT Call

Hello fellow bloggers! I have a little post today to let you know about a monthly challenge blog called Let's Ink It Up. This challenge blog is dedicated to using your rubber! That's right, all those rubber stamps are missing you! I know mine certainly are!

I've decided to apply for the DT position, because I love using my rubber stamps, and with all the digis out there they are getting sadly neglected! I miss them! I can hear my Stampscapes weeping in the other room! :P

So for all of you who are interested in the design team call, please head over to this post, and check out the details!

I have decided to enter these three items:

With this first one I won a prize over at Totally Stampalicious! Images are from House Mouse and Stampin' Up.

This one I made for my inlaws for Christmas with a few gift certificates in it! I used images from Stampscapes and a stampbord box. I stamped the images, used a series of four blue inks, and then scratched the stampbord to make the snow highlights.

This last one is also using Stampscapes stamps with the colors sponged in with a colorbox stylus tool.

ps. Because of the overwhelming support and sponsoring inquiries, Suzanne has decided to make the challenge twice per month starting in October! Wow, congratulations!

SSDS Challenge - Digi Image

Hello, it's Saturday again, and that means it's time for the challenge at the Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturdays blog! This week is easy peasy! All you have to do is use a digital image! That's it! Don't forget to check out all the samples from the DT, there are some beauties there!

For the second week in a row we are sponsored by Meljen's Designs. You can buy their images at the Whimsy Stamps Store with this link. The prize is 4 digi's of the winner's choice!

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily growing! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

This is what I made with Meljen's Chili Chihuahua. I used kraft paper, layered with some red/green/tan dp from BasicGray called Scarlet's Letter. I colored the chihuahua with my copics of course, and added some buttons! I used the sketch from Simon Says Stamp. I also entered this into the Daring Cardmakers challenge to use layers; the Alphabet's Challenge, M is for Men; and Dare You 2 Digi's challenge of stitching! Oh and I think this fits the recipe challenge at Cards for Men!

Have a great weekend!

Kraft Butterfly

Hello and happy Monday to everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much lately. I have been crafting, but I am getting ahead on my design team items because I know that the next month or so will be very busy! My son goes back to school next month and my daughter is going to kindergarten for the first time! :( With all the summer birthdays and parties going on now I haven't had time to post! Oh well, you will be seeing more of me soon. I know, I know, you don't know whether to take that as a treat or a promise right?!

Ok, enough rambling! I have been playing around a lot with kraft colored paper, so I whipped this one out when I was playing with another design. I've been meaning to post it for a week or so, but just got around to it!

The butterfly and sentiment are from Stampin' Up set Winged Things. This is one of my favorite sets ever! I love how there are so many places to color! I have used my copics, so that has made it extra fun! I paired the colors I used with some patterned paper, and accented it with black to really make it pop.

Challenges:

My Time to Craft Challenge - Butterfly Bliss
Papertake Weekly - In the Garden

Have a great week everyone!

The winner of this challenge will receive 4 digis of their choice! They have super cute stuff, so get playing!

So here's what I made for this challenge:

The DT was given some images to play with and I just loved this bear! I know, it's a little late for the 4th of July, but I just had to ink him up! I colored him with my copics of course! And don't forget to add the glitter! :)

I also used the sketch from the Digital Tuesday Challenge, and entered into the Paper Sundaes Challenge for lots of layers!

Have a great day!

SSDS Challenge - Make a Scene

Hi!

The day is just getting away from me! We are having our annual summer party tomorrow, and I just got up and started cleaning! Completely forgot it was Saturday! Sorry teamies! But, here we go!

Today's challenge at Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturdays is to make a scene. I know that is very easy in real life :P but sometimes it's hard to craft! lol Our sponsor this week is Sugar Creek Hollow. Be sure to pop over there and see the wonderful images they have to offer!

We got some lovely images to use for our cards. I paired these with the Large Meadow from Stampscapes and made a nice picnic scene. Don't you just love the sentiment? Soooo true!

Have a great weekend everyone!
